Lake Paran - Robert Frost Trail Hike

Lake Paran - Robert Frost Trail Hike to be lead by John R. Meet at The Lake Paran parking lot at 10:30 am. Hike is approximately 4-1/2 miles. Easy terrain with a few slopes. From Bennington, Take Rt 67A north to North Bennington. Grab a coffee and a pastry at Pangaea at: 3 Prospect St, before continuing another block and turning right onto Houghton St. Cross the railway tracks and turn right into Lake Paran. After the hike, we will return south to The Avocado Pit, on Route 7, in downtown Bennington for lunch. (Indoor and Outdoor seating)

AFTER-HIKE LUNCH: Please join us for lunch after the hike at the Avacado Pit on Route 7 in downtown Bennington.

WHAT TO BRING: Rain gear, Good hiking footwear, water, snacks, them, sunscreen. On the morning of the hike, please check the weather for the hike location before you leave home so you know current conditions and how to dress for them. Please let us know your cell phone number when you register so we can text you 2 hours before the event should an unexpected weather threat arise that causes us to have to cancel the activity.
