Mt. Jefferson Hike
The trip report

Classic summer hike to Mt. Jefferson summit via Castle Trail on Sunday! It was a sunny, mild day with a breezy summit where we enjoyed lunch. Decended via the Caps Ridge Trail. The "castles" & "caps" were challenging and very scenic. Enjoyed appetizers and a refreshing swim at Bear Pond after the hike.

Comments
We will be spotting two cars at the Caps Ridge Trailhead. Hikers should plan to meet up at the Castle Trailhead at 845AM for a 900AM start.
I will bring a cooler with icy beverages to enjoy after the hike. Also, all are welcome to come to my house near Franconia Notch after the hike for a dip in the pond, showers, & hang out on the deck. (Lodging available at the house Sat & Sun nights).
Looking forward to an awesome hike!
