Ten members enjoyed a sunny walk through Maudslay State Park. Beautiful river views and abandoned gardens on this 2.5 hour event. Everyone enjoyed a mid holiday stretch in the fresh air.

About this event
Plan A: No snow on the ground. We'll meet up at Moseley Woods parking lot and start our walk/hike under the new Whittier Bridge (RT 95) along the Merrimac River. We'll then make out way into Maudslay State Park for a couple of hours of walking in the woods near the river. There are some small hills, some slippery rocks....you'll need good shoes and some agility. There is no lunch planned, but we can stop for a break to enjoy a snack and some views. If we're lucky, we will see some eagles.
Plan B. Snow on the ground. We'll meet up at the Maudslay parking lot instead and hike in the snowy woods. This parking area charges a fee.
