Hike Henricus Historical Park & Dutch Gap Conservation Area

http://henricus.org/   This is a little hidden gem right in our back yard.  And with miles of trails all around the river, too.  Let’s start out the year right with an easy 2 hour walk around the lowlands of the James River.  There is no fee for hiking around the park and conservation area. Unfortunately the Historical Park with Historical buildings which replicate what it might have looked like in 1611 will be closed.  But there are public bathrooms there.

Bring water/hot chocolate/hot tea and a snack.  Check the weather and prepare for a possibly windy hike.

Hike will begin at 10 a.m. at 251 Henricus Park Road.
