3rd Night Camping, Big Meadows Campground, Shenandoah, VA
Last night of the last camping trip in Shenandoah
The trip report
Written by a former member
This was the last camping trip for Shenandoah. The weather was perfect althought signs of drought were starting to appear. We had three campers this weekend and all enjoyed themselves

About this event
No excuses if you've been putting off camping. Now is the time! Come join us for the last camping weekend in Shenandoah National Park. I have camping space G205 reserved, which is roomy enough for two vehicles and my camper. It is close to the camp store for showers, food, firewood and additional parking. Bathrooms are just a short walk away.
The weather should be great but can be quite chilly (40s to 50s at nights) so bring long sleeve shirts and pants; blankets, and sleeping bags. A Poncho is a good idea, too. Bring quarters for showers ($1.75 for 5.25 minutes) I have extra tents, sleeping bags, and pads if you don't have your own.
The campsite is $20/night divided by the amount of campers.
