First Sunday Breakfast and Hike

Here is another in a series of First Sunday Hikes (of the month): Breakfast and hikes!  We’ll be having breakfast at McLean’s Restaurant (3205 W Broad St, Richmond, VA 23230) prior to the hike.

Join us for a continuing exploration of the VA Capital Trail (end point) and the Great Shiplock Park.  Total easy hike will be about 5-6 miles of almost all slightly hilly, paved surfaces (Capital Trail) and some dirt paths (Great Shiplock Park). Park at Great Shiplock Park parking lot at 10:00 a.m. ?I'll have my old, white, 2000 Honda Accord sedan.

Total trip should be about 3 hours.  A great, easy fall walk/hike.  Bring water and snacks.  Monitor the weather and dress accordingly
