Boston Marathon Mid-Night Bike Ride

This event is organized by BostonSOS. It is really not for profit. Joey & I have signed up since the weather forecast is great for it right now. We paid the $32.64 each to get our bike transported from near South Station to Southborough. We will bring our bikes to the trucks near South Station between 8:30 & 9:30 pm. We will catch the 10:40 train from South Station to Southbourough Station. We will pick up our bikes and head to the starting line for the marathon. We ride over start line & back to the finish line in Boston. The total ride is 30.6 miles. Last yr I was at the finish line at about 3:30 am. This is a ride, not a race. There is lots of information at the web site below. If you'd like to do this, sign up thru the web link below, as required. Sign up on GayOutdoors for the trip and I'll contact you. We will probably not ride together but there are a thousand or more riders that do this. It is an unsupported ride so you'll need to bring all you'll need including  an extra tube or two and more as described in the link.
