About this event

This is an ! We change the meeting time.

Meet first at the Lakota Wolf Preserve by 9:45 AM. Upon arrival we will enjoy a short scenic 1/2 mile nature walk (up hill) to the preserve. Once at the preserve we will enter the observation area in the center of the preserve where we will be surrounded by 4 different packs of wolves (behind faced areas).

The only way to see the wolves is to join the Wolf Watch tour which takes you from the parking area to the preserve. Our GO group will be doing the 10:30 a.m.  Wolf Watch. We need to get there and register 45 minutes before tour start time, which will be 9:45 a.m, at the latest! YOU CAN'T BE LATE, so plan your timing well please. (the tour guide will NOT wait!).  Each Wolf Watch tour is 60-75 minutes long. Tours cost $15 for adults, plus tax.  THEY DO NOT TAKE CREDIT CARDS! BRING CASH OR CHECK ONLY.

After the tour we will have lunch at about 12 noon at Teresa's Pizza Cucina (3040 Delaware Ave/ Rte 611, Mt Bethel, PA 18343) as there isn't much else in the area or open at that time. (Teresa's is across the Delaware River on the Pennsylvania side about 20 minutes from the Wolf Preserve in New Jersey. For more restaurant info and menu go to http://www.teresaspizzacucina.com/. Please note to bring cash to pay for lunch to pay for your own food, drink, tip & tax) Let me know in notes area of your GO reservation if you will be joining us for lunch or just joing us for the tour at the Wolf Preserve .

If you have any concerns or questions about the wolf center specifically, please call them directly at 908-496-9244

No pets are allowed at the preserve even if they are left in your car!

No open back footwear is allowed on the hiking trail to the preserve.
