About this event

Please join me for this 5-6 mile spring hike on the extensive, beautiful woodland trail system maintained by the Town of Lincoln. This will include a walk around Flint's Pond, past the Gropius House and hopefully lunch at the Codman Estate.  Please bring water, snacks and a lunch.

Hi Guys,
Make sure you check yourselves for ticks - as some of you know, I had (at least) two of the small deer ticks (not the big dog or wood ticks) on me after we stopped at the Gropius House. As someone who had a form of Lyme disease that can be fatal, I am especially concerned.
When I got home, I put my clothes in the wash and took a shower - the ticks don't latch onto the skin for up to 12 hours, so if you shower, you are bound to wash them away.
Wishing you all the best of health,
Rob
