Brokeback Mountain Movie/Holiday Potluck

From viewing Brokeback Mountain to the food that everyone brought, everything was perfect! It was great to catch up on what everyone has been up to. Snow fell in the evening to give us a taste of a white Christmas. Good company and conversation.

Baby it's cold outside! Winter is a good time for social events. Warm your cockles with your GO friends during the holidays and watch the most popular gay move of all time, Brokeback Mountain! With spectacular outdoor scenery, gorgeous men and an oscar winning soundtrack, relive once more this tragic love story between Jack and Ennis. Did you know we have a signed movie poster by Ang Lee who won Best Director in the house?

Our fireplace will be roaring, the house lit up like a Christmas Tree, and it will be filled with holiday cheer! Festivities will begin at 5pm with drinks [BYOB] and appetizers around the fireplace and we'll begin to warm up any potluck dishes that need to be heated. After appetizers we'll move on to our holiday potluck feast. Please bring something homemade [no packaged foods please] for the potluck with your first choice a main entree, second choice salads and last choice dessert. Jon and I will be taking care of the appetizers.

After dinner we'll be watching the movie on our large screen TV and please note that some people will have to sit on the floor [we'll have cushions]. We have 8 bunds available [$20] for anyone that does not want to drive home. Reserve ASAP because these will be taken quickly. After the Brokeback Mountain movie, we can decide if we want to watch a holiday movie, play a board game or simply hang out by the fireplace.
