About this event

This is a moderate 7.9 mile circuit hike up White Oak Canyon and returning down Cedar Run. These are good trails although there are some steep sections. The falls should be running pretty full and will be readily seen without the leaves on the trees. A description of the route can be found here. http://www.hikingupward.com/snp/whiteoakcedarrun/

We'll meet at 9:00 AM at the parking area at the base of the trail near Sperryville. Directions can be found here. http://www.nps.gov/shen/planyourvisit/upload/whiteoak_canyon_area.pdf

Pack a lunch. the total time including lunch break should be around 5-6hrs.

Shenandoah charges $8/person for entry on foot.

Weather in March is highly variable so we'll make a final decision on going by Friday evening.
