About this event
Lake Drummond is located in the middle of Great Dismal Swamp and it’s one of only two natural lakes in Virginia. Despite various theories, its origin remains unknown. The hike consists of 9 miles (round trip) along Washington Ditch - this time of year is a good (mosquito free) time to do it. We’ll meet at 1 pm at the parking lot near by the trail head. The hike will take about 4 hours. The trail head location is 36.644147, -76.546619.
