About this event
Admission Fee: $8.00 admission payable to the Cincinnati Nature Center (I'd bring cash just in case cards aren't accepted).
About the Destination: The Cincinnati Nature Center (CNC) was founded in 1965 and receives over 100,000 visitors each year. There are 1025 acres of Eastern deciduous forest (included 65 acres of old growth) winding through fields, steams and ponds. Located only 6 miles east of Milford, Ohio there is an adundants of birds and wildlife, 12,000 year old glacial outcropings and over 13 miles of hiking trails.
Intinerary: We'll plan to meet at the Visitor Center at 10:00 AM and set out on the Perimeter Loop trail (about 7.8 miles). We'll start our walk on the Northern portion of the trail, circling back to the Vistor Center for a break and snack and continue on to the Southern portion of the trail.
What You'll Need: Good walking/hiking shoes/boots, a water bottle, some snacks, and any other items you might need during the walk.
Weather: November in Ohio is unpredictable, it could be warm, cold, raining or snowing. If weather impacts our plans, I'll notify you 24 hours in advance.
