About this event
Join me for one of the premier hikes on Cape Cod. Great Island is part of the Cape Cod National Seashore. A hike along it's shores and through it's coastal forest affords one a hike through a natural landscape untouched by man. Great Island is a series of pristine islands connected by beaches. At it's end is a long sand spit where seals come to sunbath. We will hike out on a trail through the island and on the return hike back along the beach. Round trip is about 7 miles. Bring a lunch and water.
