Pocono Gay Resort Day Trip

Good day for the Poconos. Not too sunny, yet no rain either. Hike for an hour or so, cut it short as we were running a bit late. Had a super patio lunch at Rainbow Mt. Resort and then swam at their pool for the rest of the day. Some of us stayed into the evening for a fantastic meal at their inside restaurant. Cheers to all! A super nice group of guys. Good seeing some ol usual friends and a great meeting some new guys as well.

Join us again this year as we return to Rainbow Mountain Resort for a day trip. Early arrivals will be gathering at 10:30AM to take a short hike at a near by trail (approx. 1 to 2 hrs) at Mt. Nebo Park (just 1/10 mile up the road from Rainbow Mt.). Afterwards we will return to the resort for lunch at about 12:45pm (If joining us for lunch, please make sure to bring small bills for payment. Each person is responsible for paying for their own meal, drinks, tip and tax! We are NOT splitting the bill this time). After lunch we will be gathering down at the pool (bring you suites to change into guys! And your towel) for swimming, tanning, and possibly a game of water volley ball (any one up for a game or two?). Note there is a small fee to use the pool. I think it is $7.

At 10:30 AM, meet us in the lower large parking lot. The Mgr/owners of Rainbow said we may park there. If you follow the directions on this post, and use the BACK Way directions to get to Rainbow, when you start to go down the Mt., the main lodge will be on your left, and just as  you pass the pool on your left, the big parking lot will be on your right. If  you come in the FRONT Way, and heading UP the hill, the lot will be on your left just before the pool and the main lodge. 

For those who wish to stay later, dinner is served at their delightful Rainbow Mountain Restaurant, which I recommend. (This is not part of our GO gathering, so you may need your own reservations for a Saturday evening... maybe check with other GO members attending to see if they want to join you ahead of time).  If you plan on staying for dinner l, let me know, I’d love to join in. And for those of you who like to dance, hang out, sing to Karaoke, you may want to visit their dance club that evening.  There's lots to do or just relax.
