About this event
Join us for one or several loops around scenic Central Park, the first landscaped public park in the U.S. We will pass by many notable features as we loop around its scenic drive – a total of 6.1 miles. With its somewhat hilly northern section and beautiful vistas, this social ride is a fun way to prepare for more challenging cycling later on and socialize with other Sundancers, including women. After 7 pm, the park becomes totally car-free. Pedal alongside our group or go at your own pace on as many loops as you wish. After we've worked up an appetite, we'll cycle to a nearby restaurant on the Upper West Side for some informal dinner. This ride has also been posted with Sundance Club so there may be women attending.
