The trip report

We started out on the canal path at the Bucks County line. The trail took us through heavily wooded areas, past stone houses from the active canal days and even through a pumpkin farm. We had a late lunch after the event.  The group was fun and interesting. Thanks for coming out guys!

About this event

We will meet at Muellers II diner at 11AM. Come early if you want, they have great breakfasts. Park in the back. You'll see a small bridge we'll use to cross over the canal. We will then head south towards Reigelsville. Some areas of the path are very private and feature great views of the Delaware River. In other places there are colonial buildings and even outdoor restuarants. The path also goes through farms and businesses. You never know what's up ahead and that's part of the fun.

Experienced bikers can go up to 2 hours out before returning, but whatever your level, please attend.  If most attendees are not strong bikers, we'll get a group to bike less miles at a slower pace or bike and walk. Know your limits so respect them. If you get back before the 3PM finish time, Muellers has tables and chairs outside so grab a cup of coffee and relax. Allow time afterwards if you want to come back to my place for a drink and maybe a campfire.
