Day @ Pennsylvania Renaissance

Great day with lots of participants. Many folks however ran late and didn't meet in one place at the same time. Had to  round people up through out the day. This is not something I would do again as a GO event with many participants as such. Everyone walked all over the park, taking in the many shows and activties. We all were able to round up to be together for lunch and then at the end of the day for the final show.

Meet at the front gate area (everyone pays for their own entry -cost is $29,95 at the gate and $24.95 on line) . We'll tour the main street of the fair up and down for a bit to take in the fair and what it's about. Then we will head on over to one of the stand/restaurants for alunch (we will pick a place ahead of time and I will email that to participants just in case you are running late and have to meet us there instead).  If  you perfer to take in lunch at a diff. stand, you can get your food & bring it wtih you and catch up with us at the chosen place. After that, I will have a schedule of 4 to 5 different shows going on through out the day for us to stop at. At the end of the day, they have a super show where all the Ren. Staff join in and sing and dance up a wonderful time (the ending show is well worth the entrance fee itself). This festival is something everyone should experience at least once. We go every year now and we are not Ren. groupies, just love this place. They do an excelent job! Since the show starts around sun down/later,  you may want to think about staying over some place. We might. Anyone staying over can let us know and perhaps we can go out afterwards for a late dinner.  (NOTE: They offer a $2.00 discount to adult patrons that visit the Renaissance Faire in period costumes.)
