About this event

Track - Lagoinha do Leste

This trip is also being posted with Aventuras GLS, a local gay/lesbian outdoor club based in Florianópolis, santa Catarina, Brazil.

Time: 10:00 (exit to the track)

Details:
Length: 2361 meters
Features: Pond, preservation areas. Panoramic view.
Difficulty: Semi-heavy, walking on steep slopes.

Tips
What to wear:
Light clothing, preferably natural fibers such as cotton, which prevent excessive sweating. Feet,
comfortable shoes. Hiking boots are always the best option.

In the easiest trails, light-colored clothes are ideal because they do not absorb much heat. In more complicated in the
closed woods, it is better to use strong colors to facilitate identification in case you get lost (that it is not the case here).

What to bring:
- Take a good backpack, tough and that fits your body, not to undermine the posture.
- Canteen for water. If not, take a plastic bottle, but do not forget to bring back.

Food:
- The day before a track, it is important to eat carbohydrates - bread, pasta, roots and tubers.
- Take non-perishable foods such as granola, dried fruit and light sandwiches, well packaged. Do not carry foods that do not bear too much heat or humidity.
- Do not make the mistake of taking more food than necessary (first-time hikers tend to eat more on track than in a restaurant).
- To restore the energy during walking, the
ideal are cereal bars or dried banana. Banana and orange, rich in potassium, are the fruit most suitable for hikers. Among the benefits, help prevent cramps.

NEVER forget to bring back any trash you produce.
