About this event
We'll climb to the summit of Mount Monadnock via the Old Toll Road and the more challenging and interesting Cliff Walk Trail (there are very steep sections), then come down via the White Arrow Trail. With some time to relax, eat lunch and enjoy the view at the summit, the hike will probably take about 4 hours. Bring lunch, warm layers for the exposed summit, water and bug repellant (in case the black flies have arrived) and wear good hiking shoes. This hike is also listed with the Men's Program in Brattleboro, Vt, so there will be additional guys from that group.
There is a $4 per person fee to use the State Park trails. No dogs, please - they are not allowed in the Sate Park.
