About this event
Mt. Baldy is the highest peak in the San Gabriel Mountians... just over 10, 000 ft. To make the climb a manageable day hike, we'll take the ski lift ($15) to Baldy Notch (8,550'). From there,it's a steep, 3.5 mile climb along the Devil's Backbone Trail. Don't worry; we'll take it slow so we can all reach the top. Dress in layers; hiking boots advised.... pack food/water/snacks...we'll eat our lunch at the summit.
