HIke/Walk/Picnic Round Valley State Prk

Had perfect weather, a variety of very nice guys, good conversation, a nice quick hike through the woods and over to the lake and back, a great cook out/pot-luck lunch....If you missed it, we will be doing it again in Sept. but at Schooley's Mt. Park. Check it out for Sept 25th on the calendar.

IT IS CLOSED TO ANY FURTHER PARTICIPANTS, other than those that already signed up. RSVPs were needed by May 20th! IF you did not RSVP by then and are NOT on the list, please be polite and not try to participate this late in the game. Food has been purchased for those that RSVPd and we want to make sure they get THEIR  lunch. We welcome you to look for the NEXT Hike-nic listing on line at Gayoutdoors and RSVP asap to assure you get a spot.

 May 22nd at 11:30 A.M we will be hosting a hike/walk & picnic at Round Valley State Park in Lebanon, NJ. We'll explore park via walk, then  have a shared pot luck lunch. I'll provide main course and each person brings a cold side dish/salad to feed 7 people or more. (Be sure to have your food in a cooler as we will not eat until 1PM or so). As a side note...In June we plan to visit the Stickley Museum and Craftsman Farm in the Morris Plains area, followed by lunch. In July we will host another Hike/walk and picnic at Schooleys Mountain Park near Long Valley, and in August we will go tubing down the Delaware River.
