Exploring Sawgrasslake Park

The report and pics for this trip was accidently posted under the Whedon Island Bike and Hike dated 1/6/09.

This park is relatively unknown by the locals!  It has over a mile of Boardwalks and several other trails as well.  Also boasts an Observation Tower where one can observe all of Sawgrass Lake from one vantage point!  We will meet at my house in Harris Park neighbor hood and carpool to the park.  Its about 5 minutes from my house.  I was told we will be guaranteed to c at least one Crocodile!  There is also an extensive outdoor Arboretum for us to explore.  This event will last about 2 hours or so.  Dogs on a leash are allowed but discouraged.  If there is interest we can also ride our bikes to the park!  :-)
