GO Boston Holiday Social

One of the best things about a GO Social Event is the chance to meet all the GOers who are brand new to us! On December 5th, we hosted over thirty GayOutdoors' enthusiasts in Boston.

We found our newer members eager to get outdoors, where GOers are in our real element...

The evening started off with an appearance by the Hat Sisters with their festive hats and ended with many members going out to dinner together. The falling snow outside put us in the holiday spirit and was a reminder of the winter adventures that lie ahead!

Are new chapters across the country around the corner? Hmmmm....

Great to meet and greet GO'ers and Newbies.  Too bad Fire and Ice was a 1 1/2 hour wait but California Pizza was enjoyable for 14 of us.  Mike and Jon...you are the "master connectors"...thanks for giving so much.  sAm

Imagine walking into a gay bar and seeing "dozens" of guys who enjoy the outdoors as much as you! It's a rare thing, and it's why a GayOutdoors Social is unique!

Have you wanted to attend an event with GayOutdoors but been nervous or not had the right amount of gear? Tonight is all about meeting some of the members, planning for upcoming events and putting you at ease with our group.

Our only aim for the night is for you to enjoy meeting a new group of friends. We will be here to chat with you as well as give you advice and answer your questions about any upcoming events. All this over a few beers or cocktails.

It's the perfect way to check us out before joining too. Bring a friend or two along for the fun everyone is welcome!

Contrary to what we've done in the past, we will not be going out for dinner as a group after this event. You can certainly make dinner arrangements with individual members while you are here. 

Meeting Location/Time: We will be meeting at Fritz from 6pm to ???. We'll be wearing GO stickers so you can recognize us. We usually hang out  at the right-hand side of the bar. Introduce yourself and we'll slap on a name badge so everyone will know who you are. Click here for directions to Fritz.
