The trip report
A glorious day for a bike ride, while attendance was small we had a might good time and no flats except for the trip leader who required a long post ride nap.
Slight detour due to bridge construction added a few more scenic miles in lovely Bedford...the entire trip took 2.5 hours with rest and water stops. Ended with lunch at a lovely sandwich spot in Concord Center.
This ride will happen again if you missed us this time.

About this event
This will be a 25 mile loop of rolling countryside with 2 short good size hills and few glorious downhills....on secondary and back roads. At a moderate pace...I am not Lance Armstrong so no worries.
We will begin and end in Concord Center at Monument Sqaure by the Flag Pole where Lexington Street, Bedford Road, Lowell Road and Main Street all intersect.
From Boston follow Rte 2 to the split....do not turn left at the split but go straight ahead to the end Cambridge Turnpike, bare left onto Lexington Street at the end and then look for parking on the right across from the bike white church....the meeting point in the square will be a block further up in front of you as you face toward Concord Center.
Please bring a helmet and water, several great sandwich places back at the Square which we will be returning to at the end of the ride. and able to relax and compare sore spots afterward. Total trip including stops etc. should be about 2.5 - 3 hours...maps of route will be provided.
