Kayak/Canoe Southern RI

This will be roughly a 4 +/- hour kayak/canoe trip. The route will be on either the Wood or Pawcatuck Rivers near Hope Valley, RI. Final trip location will be decided upon on Sept. 9th and will be based on rainfall leading up to the date and on weather forecast for the day.

Directions to the meeting location will be posted on Sept. 9th after the final route has been determined, but to give you an idea of location it will be between exit 2 and 3 on I-95 in Rhode Island.

This will be fairly calm river water, no whitewater (it is southern RI after all...). There may be a short portage (or two) around a dam. 

If you have your own kayak or canoe, great, life vests are required. Pack lunch and liquids to drink.
