Burning Man 2009

Arrived Sunday night and was in camp by 1 am. Was so cool seeing the MAN at the end of the street. I was camped in Sin City Village st 7:00 and Esplanade which was right at the head of everything. We enjoyed some of the best music in the world and saw some of the most amazing creations. Check out my blog for more details if interested, the link should be in my profile. It was soo cool! S

UPDATE: Anyone deciding to go at the last minute certainly can, but tickets at the gate are selling for 360$. Gates open midnight Sunday night and there will be a line that may take hours to get through. For the less patient you might consider heading up Monday or Tuesday. Events will be going on all the time. Make sure you tell the greeter this is your first time, because you will be assaulted in some way; this usually involves a spanking. Not such a bad greeting if you ask me. You can find camping in a lot of places; the greeter will direct you. Some of us are already in theme camps. I can be found in Sin City Village at 7:15 and Esplanade which is right next to center camp. Moonbow camp is where Ed will be. But joining those camps is something you have to ask in advance about. Otherwise try and camp near if you can. I hear there will be a gay pride march one day and tonsd of things to entertain boys and girls and much  in-between or even the none-of-the-above. Bring tons of water and protect your feet; the soil out there is harsh on your skin. If you bring a vinegar and water wash it will help a lot; bring lotion.

At night it is expected to be cold while day time has been beautiful. Protect yourself. Imagine going camping in the middle of no where with no one to rely on but yourself... then imagine 50,000 other people doing the same thing but dancing naked next to you! ha ha ha ha ... sounds like heaven, huh? Clean up after yourselves and leave no trace... come and play!

 ORIGINAL CONTENT: Unless you have been to one of these before you won't have a camping trip like this again. I want a good, solid group of gay peeps to camp with. I am not trying to sell the event, just looking for some like minded souls to join me on my journey. My group is small so far... I have about 8 confirmed. There will be 40,000 people out there... so no one will be lonely. Ask me about it and I will give you a link to my blog working up to the event... important shopping items to bring! I am going just to shed the world for a few days. The event is 7 days long, but stay as long as you want-lets make a great camp together. Warning: there will be nudity and some recreational activities, but nothing too crazy. There will be kids out there. I am babbling now.... please feel free to ask any questions. P.S.- I am leaving from Las Vegas, anybody flying their butts in should enter through Reno. I am so not seeing any bards for gay's at this event given the nature and the expression of what it is all about - it's ideal for us. XOXOXOX
