Looking to get back into camping, partner hates it so I'd rather not go alone. More the merrier to learn and experience on how to enjoy the great outdoors again!

Happy to see some western region activities. The earlier week long excursion in Washington sounded wonderful, but too much for me. I was wondering: on long excursions is it possible to just select certain sections to attend? I know the area for this hike, but concerned about the temperature at this time of year. Basically, 64, long-term HIV+, my joints complain with cold weather, pretty much out of shape, hence my stated level is as low as it can get. I hope to be able to be involved in the

Hi there. I'm in Massachusetts, so not interested in a Washington trip but wanted to suggest you expand on your idea a bit so people can know what you're thinking about. Are you talking about car camping, where you park at or near the campsite - and maybe do a hike or two from that campsite? Or are you talking about backpacking? Also, were you thinking of one or two nights camping, like over a weekend?
