About this idea
Start hike up Pinnacle from the upper parking lot say around 6:30. Would need crampons and warm gear for this. Not a hard hike but fun.

I like the idea of night hiking. You might want to consider starting at the lower parking lot. It's winter and the road to the upper lot is rather steep.

I would do it as a day hike. I cannot drive at night.

Hi, perhaps in warmer weather, on a full moon night - although view to the east might be perferrable, not sure Pinnacle offers this.
How about Mt Elmore, maybe I can suggest something - happy to see some GO activity in Vermont.
