Bicycle Ride: The Seacoast Greenway Rail Trail

A leisurely to moderate ride along the beautiful Seacoast Greenway

Details

Join in for an approximately 15 mile bike ride along the scenic Seacoast Greenway Rail Trail, a level hard-packed gravel route passing through Portsmouth, Greenland, Rye, and North Hampton. We'll start at the free parking lot of the Chris Rice Skateboard Park and head south, going the current full-length of the trail, ending at the Hampton Airfield where we can take a lunch break before heading back to Portsmouth. This will be a leisurely to moderate pace, about an hour and a half plus breaks. Bring snacks or a lunch and we can eat at the picnic tables at the airfield where we can watch the planes come and go. Afterwards, the bars and attractions of downtown Portsmouth are just a short trip from the Parking lot for anyone who wants to enjoy them.
