Join me for a hike to the summit of Mt. Adams. We will ascend via the Airline Trail (4432 ft elevation gain) to the summit of Mt. Adams. We will have lunch on the summit & then descend via the Star Lake Trail to Madison Hut for snacks & to refill water bottles. We will return via the Valley Way trail. Total distance is about 9 miles & the hike will take about 8-9 hours (moderate pace) including lunch and breaks to enjoy the views on the Airline Trail.
Optional: Lodging, hot showers, swimming & potluck available at my house near Franconia, NH on Friday or Saturday nights.
