A day at Squam Lakes Natural Science center
Details
Meeting at the entrance of the science center. In May, there is the live animal exhibit trail, which Mo and I plan on. There are also numerous hiking trails and several, optional Squam Lake cruises, which you may choose to do after hiking the trails. We plan to do the "Discover Squam" cruise if it's not too cold but won't decide on buying tickets for this until we're there. Food is not available on site, so plan on bringing lunch, although food won't be allowed on the live animal trail. The admission tickets run $22 for adults, $20 seniors, and for the Lake Cruise it costs extra, $27 for adults, $25 for seniors. You may purchase tickets online, but they are "rain or shine" without the option of a refund or reschedule, so Mo and I will not buy our tickets until we are closer to the Meetup date and can see what the weather looks like. In the event of a rainy day, I will likely reschedule.
